The Wellington (Marketplace + Equestrian Master Plan)

The Wellington is Wellington's largest-ever master-planned mixed-use development — a comprehensive luxury hotel + branded condominium + championship golf + equestrian community led by Wellington Lifestyle Partners and managed by NEXUS Luxury Collection (the firm behind Albany Bahamas). The project targets a 2028 debut. The development's anchor is The Marketplace — a walkable pedestrian-only town center incorporating a luxury hotel, 89 condominium residences, retail and dining, office space, and public gathering spaces. The project also includes a championship golf course designed by David McLay Kidd (designer of Bandon Dunes, Mammoth Dunes, and other top-100 courses) plus dedicated equestrian facilities supporting Wellington's status as the world's winter equestrian capital. The project's scale and luxury positioning fundamentally changes Wellington's residential mix — historically the village has been dominated by equestrian-estate single-family inventory plus golf-community subdivisions, with no luxury branded condo product. The Wellington introduces the first branded-condo tier to the market. Sales gallery opening and pricing release are pending — typically late 2026 to early 2027 for projects with 2028 delivery targets.
